Privacy Policy

Family Grocery: Meal Planner ("Family Grocery") is local-first. Household rules, pantry items, meal plans, grocery progress, and recipe notes are stored on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise.

Information you provide

The app lets you enter household food preferences, never-show-again ingredients, pantry items, grocery budgets, store choices, family-member labels, imported recipe text, and planning progress. This information is used to create and verify your meal plan.

Where household data is stored

The current app stores household planning data in local app storage on your device. Family Grocery does not require an account and does not operate a cloud household-profile database. Removing the app or using its reset control can remove locally stored planning data.

Purchases

Family Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat helps the app display products, confirm subscription access, and restore purchases. Apple and RevenueCat may process an anonymous app-user identifier, transaction and subscription status, and technical app or device information needed to operate purchases. The anonymous identifier is not connected to a Family Grocery account, email address, or advertising profile. Family Grocery does not receive your full payment-card details.

Apple and RevenueCat act as service providers for purchase processing and subscription access. We require service providers to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Tracking, advertising, and analytics

The current app does not contain advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party marketing analytics, or a custom crash-reporting service. We do not sell household planning data.

Children and sensitive food information

The app is designed for household planning by adults. Family-member labels and food preferences should not contain sensitive personal details. The app does not provide medical or allergy advice; users remain responsible for checking ingredients and product labels.

Your choices

You can review, export, or reset household planning data from the household setup screen. Local household data remains on the device until you reset it or remove the app. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings and restore eligible purchases inside the app. To request deletion assistance for a RevenueCat customer record, contact support. Apple or RevenueCat may retain transaction records when required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, or legal obligations.

Changes

This policy will be updated before the app adds accounts, cloud household sync, advertising, external AI processing, or new analytics that change how information is handled.
